Straight male, 1991 - ?.
I draw a lot of vector diagrams (SVG) for physics and mathematics in my own work and on Wikipedia, but rarely create electronic art for recreation and upload.
I am bad at creating artistic raster graphics (with Photoshop, Corel, Sumo paint, etc.), but strong in SVG, which is great for its precision and ease of editing. Sadly fill effects do not always export, and DA does not allow SVG for now. Next best thing is a PDF with a PNG preview.
I have no aspirations to be a professional nor prolific artist, and will draw and upload sporadically.
If you're confused about my gallery and favorites, from depressing totalitarianism etc. to soft images... I would like to draw almost anything which interests me and be an all rounder.
I am not promoting communism, fascism, nazism, totalitarianism etc. and do not support any of it. But I am interested in alternative history, even if negative like G. Orwell's book "1984", and P. Dick's book "The man in the high castle".
I also like to draw feminine girls, not because I am a "sissy", but simply because they are attractive and nice to draw.
I also like to make art using ideas from maths and physics. Fractals would be no exception, but I am bad at programming them (or anything)...
The programs I have used are exclusively Serif Drawplus X4 and Geogebra. The pixlr online graphics editor (
pixlr.com/editor/) has also helped.
Other programs used to create art will be added to the list here.
My principle to drawing is to use the minimum amount of simplest shapes possible, then just repeatedly copy, paste, transform (scale, rotate, reflect, shear, edit nodes, etc.) to generate an entire image. Effects like gradients, fills, glows, shadows, and textures do the rest. Most of my drawings are little more than just rectangles, circles, simple polygons/stars, a curve or few, then all other shapes are derived from them before they are coated in effects. Often I like to tweak an existing image and create a "spin off".
Another principle is to try and reflect symmetry.
ALL my work is free for download. NONE of it is worth selling, and I don't like to lever money from people anyway.
Feel free to download, print, use verbatim, etc., but please DO NOT edit or reverse engineer for any reason (unless the description explicitly allows you to).
Recently my own computer died. For now a general use computer at home allows some contribution.
